When summer approaches it means hotter days. With those hotter temperatures comes things like oilier hair, sweatier skin and clogged pores. While you may not be able to completely cut it out of your life, you can do things that will significantly decrease the severity of acne you do end up getting. Remove all your makeup before you go to bed

Leaving makeup on your face when you go to bed allows it to keep your pores clogged all night long and this can lead to a severe acne breakout. You want to wash the makeup off with makeup remover or with a warm washcloth and some facewash. Then, rinse your face with cold water and pat it dry with a clean towel.

Drink enough water throughout the day

Water is great for flushing out toxins and helping you to keep your skin looking nice. Along with helping to prevent you from developing acne it will also help you to end up with dry skin as well. If you always make a point of leaving the house with a cold bottle of water then you will be more likely to sip on it and get in all the water you should be consuming on a daily basis.

Don't consume too much soda and chocolate

Some foods can also contribute to acne. Soda and chocolate tend to be some of the more popular choices that can cause your face to experience a break out. By cutting these foods out of your diet as much as possible, you can cut down on the amount of acne you will find yourself dealing with.

Keep your hair out of your face

When your head gets sweaty the sweat will run down your hair and pick up extra oils along the way. It will end up on your forehead and block your pores. The can cause you to experience a bad break out of acne on your forehead. You should go to a hair salon and have your hair cut in a way that will help you to keep it out of your face. There are many styles to choose from that will do the job well.
